Reflection(s), 2018
I'm a tech-obsessed multidisciplinary artist from Chicago. I received my Master of Architecture from Columbia University in 2009, and my MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2019. I combine digital and analogue techniques to create paintings and spatial constructions that appear improbable in their perceived dimensions.
My interest in the intersection of technology, architecture, art, urban planning and sustainability is guided by my view that design and logic are one and the same. My work is inspired by the often ruled but at times chaotic organization of natural and urban landscapes.
I am an ardent recycler and have been refusing plastic bags since long before the practice became fashionable.
